Sleep with the herd
Researchers have concluded that cows and deer line up North-South when they sleep, leading to the question of whether we should do it, too.
Apparently, sleeping in harmony with the magnetic poles ensures greater REM sleep, even if you might get a steel bold in your head and end up on a hamburger bun.*

I sleep north-south and I’m on the fence when it comes to getting a better nights sleep. Lets not forget, cows and sheep also sleep standing up. :-/
