Some of those are cheats. It’s supposed to be what is beyond the borders of the original album cover, not an addition to the existing album cover as in the Bill Hicks and Janet Jackson ones (and the U2 one has been altered slightly).
The extension of Jim Morrison to the Nirvana cover is pretty brilliant. And the shadow puppet Queen cover is really good too.
